Student Dormitories (School Dormitory, International House, University House)

Tohoku University offers several student dormitories for both Japanese and international students.

For Japanese students

If you are interested in living in one of Tohoku University's dormitories, please refer to the information below and apply directly to the Student Support Division, Life Support Section.

For Internatinal students

International students must apply by email to the Academic Affairs Section, Graduate School of International Cultural Studies (GSICS), after reviewing the information below.
International students can move into University House or International House only in April and October. Please follow the procedure described below for moving in.
Please note: ①Applying does not guarantee a place in the dormitory.
②You may apply even before receiving admission results, but if you are not admitted, your application will be automatically withdrawn.
