Tohoku University has several student dormitories.

Japanese student

If you are interested in living in one of Tohoku University's dormitories, please see below and apply directly to the Student Support Division, Life Support Section.

Foreign students

International students are required to apply by e-mail to the Graduate School of International Cultural Studies Educational Records and Programs Section after reading the following.
International students can move into University House and International House only in April and October. Please refer to the following for the procedure for moving in.
Please note that (1) not all applicants will be able to move in. (2) You can apply even before you are accepted, but if you are not accepted, your application will be withdrawn.
