To ensure that as many international students as possible have the opportunity to apply for scholarships, the Graduate School of International Cultural Studies will not, as a general rule, recommend any student who has already been recommended as a candidate by the Graduate School for another private scholarship for a period of six months. This policy applies regardless of the final selection results at Tohoku University or individual scholarship foundations.
