In order to ensure international acceptability of degrees in graduate education, we will open the defense and the confirmation of academic qualifications for PhD by dissertation only (RONPAKU). The public is welcome to attend.

“Doctoral Dissertation Defense” and “Confirmation of Academic Qualifications for PhD by Dissertation Only (RONPAKU)” for Prospective Degree Recipients, September 2024 (Open to the Public)

※最終試験等についてはオンラインまたは対面で実施します。*Defense, etc. will be conducted either online or in person.

【注意事項】Notes
・参加希望者は、最終試験等中の発言、最終試験等の様子を録画、録音をすることはできない。Prospective participants are not allowed to speak, record or tape during the defense, etc.
・主審査委員の指示に従わず、最終試験等を妨げる行為を行う参加者は、主審査委員の判断により退出を求めることがある。Participants who do not follow the instructions of the dissertation committee chair or who act in a manner that interferes with the defense, etc. may be asked to leave at the discretion of the dissertation committee chair.
・オンラインによる実施の場合、参加希望者はオンライン上の会議情報について他者への情報展開を差し控えること。また、参加時にカメラをON、マイクをOFFにしておくこと。In the event that the defense, etc. is conducted online, prospective participants must refrain from disseminating information about the meeting to others online. In addition, the camera must be turned on and the microphone must be turned off when participating online.
