Under the new TA system, students hired as Basic Teaching Assistants (BTAs) and Teaching Assistants (TAs) will be required to take on-demand contents (BTA/TA pre-training) after being hired.

In addition, Teaching Fellows (TFs) are required to take a "designated training course" in order to be hired as a TF.

[TF Training]
Participants will learn about teaching and student support through advance video viewing (instructional design, etc.)　and in-person group work.

Date & Time: Friday, February 20, Periods 3–4 (13:00–16:10)
Format: Half-day intensive session + pre-learning

[Graduate School Common Course] Development of University Teaching Methods
This course aims to help graduate students of Tohoku University who aspire to become faculty members at Japanese universities or higher education institutions acquire fundamental knowledge required in contemporary Japanese higher education, and to develop reflective abilities to analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate their own teaching.
