JIGE 2026 Global Doctoral Colloquium in Humanities and Social Sciences (Oct. 3)
We have received the following announcement from the Secretariat of the Inter-University Exchange Project at Tohoku University.

The JIGE 2026 Global Doctoral Colloquium in Humanities and Social Sciences will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2026, under the theme: "How to Understand Division: Interdisciplinary Dialogues on Society, Technology, and Humanity."
Targeted at graduate students and early-career researchers in the humanities and social sciences, the colloquium will feature research presentations from four distinct fields within these disciplines. The event aims to share the latest insights from each area while promoting interdisciplinary dialogue and collaborative research based on this shared theme.
Additionally, this colloquium is organized as part of the JIGE Project—a joint initiative by Tohoku University, Kansai University, and Chiba University—to support the development of a sustainable research community.
