Career Support Office < Career Support Events for International Students (Fall Semester 2026) >

The Career Support Office will offer a variety of seminars and information sessions during the Fall Semester 2026 to support international students who are seeking employment in Japan. Join these events and take the next step in your job search!

Saturday, October 31 – Autumn Open Company (In-person): Meet companies that are actively recruiting Tohoku University students and learn about their businesses and career opportunities.

Thursday, November 12 – Job Offer Success Stories Session: Hear from senior international students who have received job offers from Japanese companies. Learn about their job-hunting experiences and tips for success.

Saturday, November 14 – “Autumn Open Company (Online)”: Hear directly from participating companies online.  

Friday, December 4 – Alumni Networking Session (OB/OG Roundtable): Connect with alumni working at Japanese companies and learn about their careers, work experiences, and career paths in Japan.

December 8 (Tuesday) and December 11 (Friday) – SPI Test Preparation Workshop: This workshop will cover both the Verbal and Non-Verbal sections of the SPI test. Participants will learn effective strategies and techniques for solving SPI questions, which is an important part of the selection process for many Japanese companies.
