This pitch contest, organized by Tohoku University, aims to support students in turning their business ideas into reality.
Since its launch in 2018, the contest has encouraged student entrepreneurship and the social implementation of research outcomes. This year marks the memorable 10th edition of the competition, with finalists eligible to receive a total of more than JPY 1.5 million in business development support funding.
The contest seeks to foster an entrepreneurial mindset among students, discover innovative ideas that address social challenges, and provide opportunities to build support networks with government agencies and private companies.
Students are invited to submit innovative business proposals based on real customer needs and focused on creating positive social impact.
