(Held on July 11, Due June 30, First Come, First Served) Kurihara City Cultural Excursion 2026
This excursion is organized by Suematsu sensei as part of her Class: [CB13105] Connecting the Local Community to the World. It is a great opportunity for students to experience rural Japan, engage with local communities, and learn about regional culture beyond the classroom. Participants will visit Kurihara City in northern Miyagi Prefecture, take part in a hands-on Hatto cooking workshop with local residents, explore the natural beauty of the Izunuma, enjoy cultural exchange activities, and experience the lively atmosphere of the Kurikoma Night Market. The program aims to promote intercultural understanding while providing students with a unique opportunity to connect with local communities and discover a different side of Japan.
