We would like to inform you about the 2nd call for applications for the AI for Science Seed Research Creation Program (SPReAD). *Even if your application is not selected in the first call for proposals, you may reapply for the second call, which is currently open.

1. Application via e-Rad and Deadline
Application Deadline: Monday, June 29, 2026, 5:00 PM (strict deadline)
*Please note that the e-Rad system becomes extremely busy just before the deadline, and access difficulties may occur. Please strictly observe the internal deadline (Monday, June 29, 5:00 p.m.) and submit your application documents well in advance.

How to Apply: Submit your application through **e-Rad**.
*If you do not yet have an e-Rad Researcher ID, you must obtain one before applying. (As the application process may take some time, please allow sufficient time when submitting your application.)
Please note that the e-Rad Researcher ID is different from the ID used when applying for the JSPS Research Fellowship for Young Scientists (DC).
If you would like to apply for this program and need an e-Rad Researcher ID, please send an email to "the GSICS General Affairs and Planning Section" and inform them that:
・you wish to apply for this program, and
・you would like to obtain an e-Rad Researcher ID.
If you have already completed your personal registration and need to make any changes to the registered information, please contact the General Affairs and Planning Section of the Graduate School of International Cultural Studies.
