[Important] WHO Declaration of a Public Health Emergency of International Concern (PHEIC) Regarding Ebola Disease in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Uganda
The World Health Organization (WHO) has declared the Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Uganda a Public Health Emergency of International Concern (PHEIC).
If you are planning to travel or stay overseas, please check the latest information from government authorities and take appropriate precautions to protect yourself from infection.
If you are currently overseas or planning to travel abroad, please make sure that the university can contact you in case of an emergency. We also ask you to register with the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Overseas Residential Registration system (Zairyu Todoke) or Travel Registration Service (Tabi-Regi), as appropriate.
