[Format] • The first and tenth sessions will be held in person at the SenTIA 4th Floor Conference Room (*).

• Sessions 2 through 9 will be held online via Zoom.

【Eligibility】People who meet all of the following criteria (Capacity: 15 people)
・Residents of Sendai City
・Beginners in Japanese, or those who wish to start learning Japanese from scratch
・Aged 16 or older
・Able to attend all 10 sessions as much as possible

【Textbook】We will use an original introductory textbook.
【Content】
In this class, you will study basic Japanese while also learning practical knowledge for living in Sendai.
We will study hiragana, katakana, and a small amount of kanji. We will not cover verb conjugations. Classes will be conducted entirely in Japanese.
