The Aachen University Research Fellowship Japan Program (hereafter, "the program") will recruit
outbound study abroad students for the 2026 academic year as described below. Outbound
students may be selected to receive an Aachen University Research Fellowship (hereafter
"Aachen scholarship"). Please note that this program is for the research scholarship at the
Technical University of Aachen. If you wish to apply for the JASSO Overseas Study Support
Program at COLABS instead of a research scholarship at TU Aachen, please apply for the Shortterm Cooperative Research Student Exchange Program in Natural Sciences (COLABS) at Tohoku University. Students in fields related to the humanities are eligible to apply too.
