Sendai City Presents: “Jozenji Art Street 2025” (Cooperating Project with SenTIA)

Currently, an event is being held along Jozenji-dori, Sendai City's symbolic road,
featuring art and entertainment.
SenTIA is collaborating with this event to showcase Sendai's efforts in building a multicultural community.

We also have an exhibition of booklets created by international students from Japanese language schools.
Admission is free and open to everyone, so please come along with friends and family!

【Exhibition Contents】
① Sendai Multicultural MAP
Discover the present-day multicultural city of Sendai! Featuring statistical data,
archival photos, and a specially produced large-scale map.
② SenTIA Multicultural Community Building Panels
Introduces various multicultural community initiatives underway in the city through photo panels.
③ “Sendai Multicultural Community Building Channel” Video Screening
Screens the latest videos from SenTIA's video site, the “Sendai Multicultural Community Building Channel”.
④ Sendai Multicultural Library
Books on themes like cross-cultural understanding, multicultural coexistence, and support for people with foreign roots will be displayed.

【Special Exhibition】Sendai International Japanese School International Student ZINE
ZINE is short for the English word “magazine.” It refers to self-published works created by individuals or small groups.
There are no fixed themes or styles; creators can freely express their interests and thoughts.
This special exhibition features booklets created by international students at Sendai International Japanese Language School, themed around their experiences living in Japan and learning Japanese.
