Dr. Zachary Wingerd, Senior Lecturer in History at Baylor University, one of Tohoku University's partner institutions, visited the Graduate School of International Cultural Studies (GSICS) for an academic exchange.

During the visit, Dr. Wingerd met with two faculty members and one doctoral student from the Graduate School. The participants engaged in active discussions on a range of topics, including American history from a Japanese perspective and approaches to history education and teaching.

The exchange provided a valuable opportunity to deepen mutual understanding, and explore future opportunities for collaboration in research and education.
