The “SDGs Outreach Program,” jointly organized by our Graduate School and Higashimatsushima City, was featured on TBC's news program N Sta Miyagi
Since 2019, the Graduate School of International Cultural Studies has been conducting an SDGs Outreach Program at elementary schools in Higashimatsushima City under the theme of “Sustainable Community Development.”
On June 22, five hands-on learning booths were set up with the cooperation of our Graduate School, the Graduate School of Education, Kobayashi Co., Ltd., Tobu Kankyo Co., Ltd., and MS&AD InterRisk Research & Consulting, Inc. Through these booths, students participated in experiential learning activities focusing on topics such as resource circulation, decarbonization, disaster preparedness, safety, and risk management.
The program is scheduled to be conducted at all seven elementary schools in Higashimatsushima City through June 29.
