Reported by Miyagi Television and Introduced on NTV NEWS

On June 24, an SDGs-themed outreach class held at Oshio Elementary School in Higashimatsushima City was reported by Miyagi Television and introduced on the national NTV NEWS NNN website.

This program was a collaboration among three universities, including our Yu Laboratory (International Politics and Economics, Graduate School of International Cultural Studies). Sixteen 4th-grade students participated, learning about sustainability and recycling.

Professor Jeongsoo Yu encouraged the students to "work together and think carefully about their surroundings and the Earth’s condition."

At our graduate school’s booth, items such as neck warmers and bags made from recycled plastic were introduced.

The outreach program is scheduled to continue at seven elementary schools in the city through July 8.
