Public Defenses of Doctoral Dissertations for September 2025 Degree Candidates
To ensure international acceptability of degrees in graduate education, we will open the defense. The public is welcome to attend.
Defenses will be conducted either in-person or online.
In principle, those who wish to attend the public defense should respond to the form below by noon the day before the defense.

Notes
-Prospective participants are not allowed to speak, record or tape during the defense.
-Participants who do not follow the instructions of the dissertation committee
chair or who act in a manner that interferes with the defense may be asked to leave at the discretion of the dissertation committee chair.
-In the event that the defense, etc. is conducted online, prospective participants must refrain from disseminating information about the meeting to others online. In addition, the camera must be turned on and the microphone must be turned off when participating online.
