Project Overview
The objective of this project is to implement measurement technologies utilizing terahertz waves and adjacent frequency bands in the wood, pulp, and paper sectors. There is significant anticipation surrounding the practical application of new measurement methods—leveraging these technologies for evaluating and sorting paper, recovered paper, and wood. This research focuses on developing measurement and identification technologies for these materials, specifically targeting the development of: (1) paper formation analyzers; (2) technologies and equipment for sorting recovered paper; and (3) instruments for measuring the internal structure of trees.
