Please register for courses offered in the first semester of the 2025 academic year as follows.

Course Registration Period : April 7 (Mon.) – April 18 (Fri.), 2025 (strict deadline)

※Application for accreditation of the Foundation Courses for Global Development and Specialized Courses (only for MC program students)
Students may take up to 6 credits of common graduate courses and courses from other graduate schools as foundation courses for global development and specialized courses if approved by the Graduate School.
If you wish to apply for accreditation, you may do so using the “Course Registration Form for Other Schools” .
There are other prerequisites for applying for accreditation. Please check the reverse side of the “Course Registration Form for Other Schools” carefully before applying.
!! Application after earning credits is not possible. Please note that you must apply in advance. !!

Please submit the “Course Registration Form for Other Schools” to your Primary Advisor (Faculty Advisor) as an email attachment during the registration period.
※If you do not submit the form, no credits will be granted. After the course registration form is submitted from your Primary Advisor, the Academic Affairs Section will register your courses in the Academic Affairs Information System.Please confirm your course registration through the Academic Affairs Information System on or after Friday, May 2, 2025.
※When you take intensive courses at other schools, please follow the above procedures during the designated period after the schedule of intensive courses is determined.

Between April 7 (Mon.) and April 18 (Fri.), 2025, inform the lecturer of the class you wish to take of your interest in taking the course and have him/her sign or seal the application form, or send an e-mail requesting the course and receive a reply stating that you have been approved.
The email address of the instructor can be found in the “Contact” column of the syllabus after logging in to the Academic Affairs Information System.
*If you wish to take an intensive course, please send an e-mail to obtain permission to take the course.
*If you do not see your contact information listed, please contact the General Education Implementation Section (kyom-j@grp.tohoku.ac.jp).

Subject Application Form” and submit it to the Academic Affairs Section. (Only for first-year students of the 2-year Master’s Course (MC))
The “Master Student Application Requirements” requires the acquisition of a minimum of 6 credits. At least 4 of those credits must be from courses offered by majors other than the Graduate School of International Cultural Studies.
