1. Training Details
We offer graduate students in the COE program an intensive course intended to give them a glimpse of what generative linguistics is all about (the exact schedule and class size are to be decided).
Topics covered include:
[1] Some basics of generative linguistics, such as the background, methodology, assumptions, etc.;
[2] Illustration of how specific linguistic data are analyzed in generative linguisitcs;
[3] Generative linguistics and brain science.
