The
Brain Mapping Laboratory provides opportunities to study
the following issues through research (experience) during
the training period of up to three months:
[1] Principles and application of functional MRI and near
infrared measuring instruments
[2] Preparation for tasks of experiments on functional organization
of brain involved in representation of language
[3] Statistical processing methods for functional brain
imaging
[4] How to write research papers concerning brain mapping
The goal of this three-month
training program is to enable trainees to promote their
own research by learning how to use functional MRI and near
infrared measuring instruments. If experimental data are
well prepared during the training program, instructions
will also be given for a research paper and presentation
at an international academic conference.
The time of commencement and period of training will be
decided upon consultation. The maximum number of trainees
to be accepted is three for each period.
